毎年、春になると日本各地で桜が咲き誇ります。
そんな桜も、美しく咲かせることや樹形を維持するためには造園業の方がメンテナンスを行います。
その1つが剪定で、枯れてしまった枝や病気の枝、余分な枝をなどを切ります。
その枝は、処分されます。
SAKURA CAPはそんな処分されてしまう枝を利用し、
染料となるエキスを抽出し、のボタニカル・ダイという自然染色にて生地を染めました。

桜染めの表情を生かすために綿帆布の平織り生地をベースにし、
ひと手間かかるムラ染めにより桜の色の変化やグラデーションを楽しめるようにしました。
